This recipe makes enough topping for one medium to large pizza. You can use any type of pizza dough for it. I used my pizza recipe in the morning and because we had the grandsons over we used both doughs that the recipe makes. One was ham and cheese and the other vegetarian.
Ingredients
¼ cup cream cheese
¼ cup sour cream
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup julienned red pepper
½ cup sliced onions
¾ cup shredded mozzarella
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Whisk together cream cheese, sour cream, flour and garlic salt in bowl
Chill in fridge until ready to use
Heat oil on high in a skillet and sauté pepper and onions until onions have caramelized (golden brown). Pour into medium sized bowl and let cool
When ready to bake pizza pour cream cheese mixture into pepper and onions and blend well
Roll out your pizza and spread the veggie mixture on top of pizza
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese
Bake as long as your pizza dough states
Remove and let sit for five minutes before slicing
I’ve served with a side salad
Photos show both pizza’s Brody and I made with my pizza dough. This dough is light and fluffy and absolutely perfect for any type of toppings.
