This simple green salad is great to augment any other flavourful dish so it doesn’t take away from the meal itself. Adding green onions and walnuts adds depth to the salad.
Ingredients
1 large Romaine lettuce – cleaned
2 finely chopped green onions
¼ cup chopped walnuts
1 – 2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and vinegar to taste
Directions
In a medium bowl chop up lettuce
Add green onion and walnuts
Pour in olive oil
Add salt and vinegar to taste
Mix well and serve as a side dish
