I wanted to make a simple fast fried pork chop with a little more flavour than garlic salt, so I sweetened the pork with rum and honey. I served this with my Stir Fried Rice Restaurant Style.
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
6 thin sliced pork
Lawry’s garlic salt or salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup rum
2 tbsp honey
Directions
Sprinkle pork with garlic salt
In large skillet heat oil and fry pork about 5 minutes on each side
Pour in rum and let the liquid reduce by ½ and then pour in honey
Simmer for 2 minutes
Serve with rice
