Nautica Beach is located just below the Rocco Borromea di Arona Cliff on Lago Maggiore between the Nautica Tennis Club and Rocchette Beach. When you walk through the gates from Piazza Gorizia you see the massive cliff on your left and the tennis courts on your right.
Spiagga Nautica si trova proprio sotto la scogliera Rocco Borromea di Arona sul Lago Maggiore tra il Nautica Tennis Club e la spiaggia delle Rocchette. Quando varcherai i cancelli da Piazza Gorizia si vede la massiccia scogliera sulla sinistra e i campi da tennis sulla destra.
As you walk down the path you see three historic posters of times gone by. The first highlights the water-skiing club “Golden Skis of Lake Maggiore” which had members of the national team participate in training in 1958. Later in the sixties, it became the home of the national training school where thanks to the experience at a European level some great athletes and champions were born.

Il primo mette in evidenza il club di sci nautico "Sci d'oro del Lago Maggiore" che ha avuto membri della squadra nazionale partecipare agli allenamenti nel 1958. Più tardi negli anni sessanta, divenne la sede della scuola di formazione nazionale dove grazie all'esperienza a livello europeo nacquero alcuni grandi atleti e campioni.
Second, we come across the Verbanese Nautical Union Pro which was founding in 1900 with the intent to cultivate rowing and swimming and public social parties. Three buildings were inaugurated on July 13, 1901. The central one used as a Salon, the camp used or lawn-tennis and the lake area for national regattas and swimming competition.
In secondo luogo, ci imbattiamo nell'Unione Nautica Verbanese Pro che è stata fondata nel 1900 con l'intento di coltivare il canottaggio e il nuoto e le feste sociali pubbliche. Tre edifici furono inaugurati il 13 luglio 1901. Quello centrale adibito a Salone, il campo adibito a prato-tennis e la zona lago per regate nazionali e gare di nuoto.
And lastly there is a poster of what has remained since the nineteenth century. Such as the angular tower, the east pier that joins the two bulls preserved under the balcony on the lake, the Gibertian round tower and by Rocchette beach, part of the wall that closed the port at the west.

Continue walking down the path you see the new Nautica Beach that was built in 2019 to be reflective of somewhere you can go and enjoy the beach, food, drinks and music. For a fee there are loungers of all types, an area where you can swing, beach umbrellas, beach beds and a beautiful beachfront where you can relax. It is beautifully decorated in white and light greys which make it very pleasing to the eyes. With little Budda statues to add some zen, this is a magical place to relax in the day. Enjoy food and drinks at the onsite restaurant which at the time was Mama Cafè.
Continua a camminare lungo il sentiero vedi la nuova Nautica Beach che è stata costruita nel 2019 per riflettere un posto dove puoi andare e goderti la spiaggia, il cibo, le bevande e la musica. A pagamento ci sono lettini di ogni tipo, una zona dove poter oscillare, ombrelloni, lettini e un bellissimo lungomare dove potersi rilassare. È splendidamente decorato in bianco e grigio chiaro che lo rendono molto piacevole alla vista. Con piccole statue di Budda per aggiungere un po 'di zen, questo è un posto magico per rilassarsi durante il giorno. Godetevi cibo e bevande presso il ristorante in loco che all'epoca era Mama Cafè.
If you walk a little further there is Rocchette beach, where you can bring your own chairs and food and bask in the sun and lake.

Even if you are just taking a stroll, this is a great place to see the scenery of Lago Maggiore and the impressive Cliff of Rocco Borromea.
