Makes 8 dessert cups
Ok what you see in the photos made way too much filling therefore I’ve adjusted the quantity to what I believe would make the right amount. I made a Mud Mousse Pie with the rest of the ingredients which I will provide recipe for that as well.
This is a very sinful dessert that goes great after any meal.
Ingredients
1 pack of 102 g instant chocolate pudding
1.5 cups milk
36 Oreo cookies (extra if you want to dress one on top of cup)
2 ounces melted butter
1 pack Cool Whip
250 grams mascarpone cheese
1 cup icing sugar
Directions
Make chocolate pudding by whisking pudding mix and milk until it has thickened, set in fridge for at least 15 minutes
Crush Oreo cookies with food processor or pound in a Ziploc bag
Set aside ½ cup of cookies for later, mix the remaining crushed cookies with melted butter
Divide cookies into 8 glasses, or I like to use mason jars
Tap down the cookies to form a crust, I use a shot glass to do this
NOTE: don’t press down too hard as it will make it hard to scoop out, just enough to level the layer of crust
Beat cool whip, mascarpone cheese, and icing sugar with electric mixer until fully blended
Dollop ½ of the cheese mixture evenly onto 8 cookie crumbs
Top each cup with even amount of chocolate pudding
Dollop the remaining cheese mixture on top of pudding
Cover each cup with saran wrap and refrigerate for four hours or overnight
When ready to serve sprinkle each cup with crushed cookies you set aside
You can top with an Oreo cookie as well like I did
