Lago Maggiore has a vast population of birds which I saw some from afar but many I didn't have the pleasure of seeing. Based on iNaturalist's website below is a list of the birds they have recorded seeing on the vast lake:

During our walks in Stresa on Lago Maggiore we got to see swans, ducks and other birds be amazing parents. We've watched different batches of bird families grow up right in front of our eyes. Below is a beautiful video I've compiled showing the wonderful bird families we were blessed to watch. It really does a body good when you go outside and enjoy what nature and life has to offer:
Durante le nostre passeggiate a Stresa sul Lago Maggiore abbiamo avuto modo di vedere cigni, anatre e altri uccelli essere genitori fantastici. Abbiamo visto diversi lotti di famiglie di uccelli crescere proprio davanti ai nostri occhi. Ecco un bellissimo video che ho compilato che mostra le meravigliose famiglie di uccelli che abbiamo avuto la fortuna di guardare. Fa davvero bene al corpo quando esci e ti godi ciò che la natura e la vita hanno da offrire:
