When I was a little girl I helped dad pull out weeds in his garden and I especially loved it when there were clovers in the garden as I took a little longer looking for that coveted four-leaf one. I remember one time I found one that had three leaves on it but a fourth one was ¾ eaten by something and daddy said it didn’t count.
Years later I still love to sit in a patch of clovers and look for the lucky one. But until today I had never found a full one. It had rained the past few days and therefore there were a lot of weeds in my Arona garden and I took seating pad and sat down to clean them. It wasn’t long that I found a large four-leaf clover. My heart fluttered and I instantly thought what dad would think about this one. It has a little bit eaten by something but you can see it truly is a four-leaf one.
I carried on and almost to the end of my garden, I found a second much smaller four-leaf clover. My garden gives me a lot of pleasure but these two little leafy clovers just filled my heart with pure love today. I wished upon the first one, and my daddy knows exactly what I wished for and then the second one just reinforced my miracle wish. I’ve felt so blessed to be in Arona at the exact moment we needed to be here. These two little clovers give me double the hope, faith, love and luck.

Fun facts about four-leaf clover
The Celts considered the four-leaf clover to have magical powers and able to ward off evil and bad luck
It is believed that carrying a four-leaf clover, lets you see the dangerous little fairies that the Celts believed would steal your children, so carrying a clover meant you could take evasive action if you spotted one
Many Celtic traditions were blended with religion and legend says St. Patrick brought Christianity to ancient Ireland and he used the three-leafed shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. Each leaf for Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Because four-leafed clovers are so rare, the Celts gave it the meaning of faith, hope and love for Christianity and added God’s grace or LUCK for the fourth leaf
It is said there are as few as one four-leaf clover in 10,000 three-leaf clovers, however Swiss researchers looked at 5.7 million clovers and found the odds to be one in 5,076 three-leafed one. Better odds but still rare

Fortunata in Arona
Quando ero una bambina aiutavo papà a tirare fuori le erbacce nel suo giardino e mi piaceva soprattutto quando c'erano trifogli in giardino perché impiegavo un po 'più di tempo a cercare quell'ambito quadrifoglio. Ricordo che una volta ne trovai uno che aveva tre foglie, ma un quarto era 3/4 mangiato da qualcosa e papà disse che non contava di essere quadrifoglio.
Anni dopo amo ancora sedermi in una zona di trifogli e cercare il quadrifoglio. Ma fino ad oggi non ne avevo mai trovato uno completo. Aveva piovuto negli ultimi giorni e quindi c'erano molte erbacce nel mio giardino di Arona e ho preso il tappetino e mi sono seduto per pulirli. Non passò molto tempo che trovai un grande quadrifoglio. Il mio cuore batteva forte e ho subito pensato a cosa avrebbe pensato papà di questo. Ha un po 'mangiato da qualcosa, ma puoi vedere che è davvero una con quattro foglie.
Ho continuato e quasi alla fine del mio giardino, ho trovato un secondo quadrifoglio molto più piccolo. Il mio giardino mi dà molto piacere, ma questi due piccoli quadrifolgi mi hanno riempito il cuore con puro amore oggi. Ho desiderato su il primo, e mio papà sa esattamente cosa desidero e poi il secondo ha solo rafforzato il mio desiderio miracoloso. Mi sono sentito così fortunata ad essere ad Arona nel momento esatto in cui dovevamo essere qui. Questi due piccoli quadrifolgi mi danno doppio speranza, fede, amore e fortuna.
Apprezza i momenti che ti fanno battere il cuore - non importa quale sia, è una sensazione meravigliosa.

I Celti credevano che il quadrifoglio aveva poteri magici per fermare la sfortuna
