Makes 16 Rolls
I love using Pillsbury premade doughs when time is short. This recipe is full of ham, cheese, and zucchini in a fluffy pizza dough. I served it as a meal with a green salad, but you can also serve it as an appetizer with my zesty ranch dip.
Ingredients
2 zucchini
2 Pillsbury pizza crust dough
2 tbsp flour
16 Ham slices
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp Lawry’s garlic salt or salt and pepper
16 Cheese slices
1 egg
½ tsp Lawry’s garlic salt
Directions
Shred zucchini into a colander and using a paper towel press the water out of the zucchini
Let zucchini sit until ready to use as a layer
Unroll first pizza dough on to parchment paper and sprinkle with flour
Using a rolling pin roll out pizza dough to 1/8th inch thick
Place ham all over the dough
Press water out of zucchini with paper towel one more time
Put zucchini into a bowl and stir in grated cheese and garlic salt
Spread ½ of the zucchini mixture on top of ham layer
Place cheese slices on top of zucchini layer
Starting at the short end, roll up the pizza dough
Cover the dough with parchment paper and put into fridge
Make the second roll and place in the fridge for 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper
Unroll each pizza log and cut into 8 pieces
Place 8 pieces on each baking sheet
Beat egg and Lawry’s garlic salt and brush on each roll
Bake for 30 minutes until golden and gooey
