We have found the best pizza north of Napoli in our favourite little tourist town of Stresa on Lago Maggiore. We drive the 25-minute scenic lake road from Arona to Stresa and as we turn the corner into Stresa, my heart flutters at its beauty.

Abbiamo trovato la migliore pizza a nord di Napoli nella nostra cittadina turistica preferita di Stresa sul Lago Maggiore. Percorriamo la strada panoramica del lago di 25 minuti da Arona a Stresa e mentre giriamo l'angolo per Stresa, il mio cuore batte all'impazzata per la sua bellezza.
We spent 2 months at Casa Diverio rental apartments hosted by Susy and Matteo. It is in the center of town and the accommodations are perfect with amazing beds, rooms and next door you even have a Carrefour market. Of course, there are some Splendid Hotels on the lake that will leave you breathless as you walk the strip.
Abbiamo trascorso 2 mesi a Casa Diverio appartamenti in affitto ospitati da Susy e Matteo. Si trova nel centro della città e le sistemazioni sono perfette, con letti e camere incredibili, e accanto c'è anche un mercato Carrefour. Naturalmente ci sono alcuni Splendid Hotel sul lago che vi lasceranno senza fiato mentre percorrete la striscia.

Back to the best pizza north of Napoli!
GranoDuro is a short walk from the lake and during the busy season you must make a reservation. And no wonder, because the food, not just the pizza is amazing. Enzo and his team always have a smile to see you and attend to your every need. The pizza is made in the traditional wooden oven and there is no better aroma than walking into this restaurant. On top of it the facilities are clean and welcoming. The pasta lights on the patio just give it the extra ambiance.

GranoDuro si trova a pochi passi dal lago e durante l'alta stagione è necessaria la prenotazione. E non c'è da stupirsi, perché il cibo, non solo la pizza, è incredibile. Enzo e il suo team hanno sempre un sorriso per vederti e soddisfare ogni tua esigenza. La pizza è fatta nel tradizionale forno a legna e non c'è profumo migliore che entrare in questo ristorante. Inoltre, le strutture sono pulite e accoglienti. Le luci della pasta sul patio gli danno solo l'atmosfera in più.

During high season from March to November, there are so many restaurants, caffes and bars filled with people eating amazing food. We’ve eaten or had coffee or drinks at most of them, and the service and food is second to none. Truly Stresa has so much to offer that you will leave your heart here!
Durante l'alta stagione, da marzo a novembre, ci sono così tanti ristoranti, caffè e bar pieni di persone che mangiano cibo straordinario. Abbiamo mangiato o bevuto caffè o bevande nella maggior parte di loro, e il servizio e il cibo non sono secondi a nessuno. Davvero Stresa ha così tanto da offrire che qui lascerete il vostro cuore!
