Being mindful - what does that mean.....
Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment—and accepting it without judgment. What a concept! Too much time is wasted worrying about:
What if I do this
If I do this what will people think
Will I get the new job
Does he/she or them love me
And so on…..
Worrying causes undo stress. Living life for the moment you are in allows you to focus your attention on what is truly important now. Yes sometimes the now is tough but you are just dealing with it when you have too. No more negative vibes when you don’t have too. My present moment are my four grandsons Brody, Blake, Weston and Jameson. When things are pulling me in every direction; I think of them or ask my kids to send a video or picture and they ground me. Find your purpose and focus on it. I promise it will help.
